Now That You Are Here; WHAT DO YOU DO?

Take It From A Local....... My Favorite Things To Do In Asheville:
1) Obviously.....Sweeten Creek Coffee is #1 on My List. Best Coffee Shop in Western NC
2) Ok...so Biltmore Estate is a Must See, will take all Day, and you will be tired! Amazing Wealth displayed by the Vanderbilt Family.
3) My #3 is The North Carolina Arboretum, also a must see, which is conveniently located beside The Blue Ridge Parkway, so make reservations at Pisgah Inn for a meal, and then turn off the Blue Ridge Parkway toward Brevard and see all the natural waterfalls in the National Forest. If you feel bold, try sliding rock.
4) Fletcher Park..This is My Go To: great for kids to get some energy out, great for walking dogs, great for outside activities. Fletcher Park has long, level shady walking trail beside Cane Creek so it's cool and easy walking, ball field, soccer field, frisbee golf, picnic tables, meditation benches, and THIS IS IMPORTANT..friendly locals who regularly use this park. So wave as you greet someone or just say hi! I Guarantee you will be Well Received.
5) Main Street Hendersonville. Understated town of wealth and culture. Genuine, decent, nice local people.
6) If you want a Day Trip....see town of Blowing Rock, NC. I posted about this earlier in June.
7) Like to fish? Brevard/Mills River areas have great streams.....remember, you need a license to fish these streams.
8) If you like Breweries, then welcome to Beer City USA. My neighbor is part owner of Mills River Brewery.
There You Have It from a Local's view. Welcome to the "LAND OF THE SKY"
