JANUARY--NATIONAL SOUP MONTH

Did you know that January is NATIONAL SOUP MONTH?   I certainly did NOT.  So, let's talk soup for the next few posts, in an effort to answer the question......CAN A COFFEE SHOP SERVE GREAT FOOD?  

ABSOLUTELY: And on a COLD WINTER day......let's take TOMATO BISQUE FOR EXAMPLE.  The first published tomato soup recipe is by Eliza Leslie in 1857, in her final publication "New Cookery Book". I find the title of her cookbook interesting as her "NEW COOKERY BOOK" was published 164 years ago.  On these cold winter days, TRY out our TOMATO BISQUE SOUP.....Piping Hot, Delicious, with Saltines.
